Refund Policy

We want you to feel good about your purchase. Here's how refunds work, and what the law gives you on top of anything we offer.

Your 14-day right to cancel (EU/UK)

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Rights Directive — in Romania, OUG 34/2014 — and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in this policy takes it away.

There is one exception you should understand before you buy, because it applies to us. When you ask us to start straight away — which is what unlocking a report is — and you acknowledge it at checkout, the withdrawal right is lost for that report once we have delivered it. That is how the law treats digital content supplied immediately with your express consent.

In practice: you keep the full 14 days for anything we have not yet delivered, and for a subscription period you have not used. You lose it only for a specific report you asked us to produce and we produced.

How to withdraw

Tell us within 14 days — an email to support@lookara.org saying you wish to withdraw is enough, and you do not have to explain why. You can also use the model withdrawal form from the Directive if you prefer. We refund within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method you paid with, and we do not charge a fee for it.

Trials — cancelling in time is your responsibility

Your trial is charged upfront at the disclosed trial price and lasts 7 days. It converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of that period unless you cancel first.

Cancelling before the trial ends is your responsibility. You accept this at checkout, where you tick to confirm you have read these terms, and we record which version you accepted and when. If the trial runs to its end without being cancelled it converts and the first subscription charge is due — that is the arrangement you agreed to, and it applies whether or not the Service was used.

Due is not the same as final. A 7-day trial converts on day 7, well inside the 30-day period of grace set out under "Subscriptions" below — so that first charge is one you can still ask us to return, without giving a reason. What the grace period does not do is reach back to a charge you raise with us after those 30 days have run out.

We make it as hard as possible to reach that point by accident: the price and the renewal date are shown before you pay, and cancelling takes one tap from your account at any hour without giving a reason.

Your statutory rights are unaffected. Where the 14-day withdrawal right applies and has not been used up (see above), it continues to apply regardless of anything in this section.

Subscriptions

You have 30 days after the first enrolment to cancel the subscription with no obligation to keep the subscription. The subscription can be cancelled at any given time with no questions asked, but refunds will not be processed if the period of grace has been passed.

The period of grace is those 30 days, counted once from your first enrolment rather than restarting at each renewal. Ask us inside it and we refund what you have paid, without asking why — the first charge after a trial converts included. Cancel after it and the cancellation still takes effect and stops every future charge, but what has already been billed is not returned.

Cancelling never cuts your access short: it runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.

One-off purchases

Credit packs and add-ons are generally non-refundable once used, but contact us if something went wrong and we'll make it right.
